I can totally relate to this as I took couple of risks in the last 2 years when decided to go on my own in starting a new start up venture against all odds! I had the utmost belief and courage that I will be successful and yet there weren't any guarantees for success as I ventured out into the unknown territory. I was outside of my own comfort zone having left my well paid consultancy role in healthcare in search of my own destiny.
While we were successful in the beginning, things did not go according to my plan for much longer or the vision I had for the business, when I realised that the market my business was operated from has moved on a lot in the past 2 years and had incurred heavy losses. This and combined with the personal setbacks I faced in turn forced me to close down the business in 2013.
I was still hopeful even during the hard times that I will be back one day where I have never given up on my dream or passion and I am happy to report after some time off in travelling in 2013, I am now in the middle of my new start up venture where I took yet another risk in going it alone- and will continue to attack and willingness to launch with all I have in continuing to experiment and re-invent myself in making a huge success in the future!
Go after your dreams and NEVER EVER GIVE UP!
